The 1905 Family of Restaurants hosts the 27th Annual Community Harvest program through the month of September 2024 at restaurants across Florida
We are excited to share that INK!’s Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County college scholarship program has been selected by the 1905 Family Of Restaurants to benefit from the 27th Annual Community Harvest program. During the month of September, the restaurant company will donate 5% of diners’ checks to the charities selected by guests at the company’s Florida restaurant locations.
Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County selected to benefit from local diners at the Columbia Restaurant in historic St. Augustine
Diners at the Columbia Restaurant located at 98 St. George Street in historic, downtown St. Augustine, can elect to support Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County. Restaurant guests choose a charity from ballots provided with your check. The Columbia will calculate 5% donation to the charity selected based on the guest’s check. There is no cost to vote for Take Stock in Children on the ballot provided. Banquets and catering orders also qualify for donations through the Community Harvest program.
Over $4 million donated to Florida non-profits through the Community Harvest program
The Community Harvest program was developed by the Gonzmart family of the 1905 Family Of Restaurants to benefit
the many worthy non-profit organizations served by the Columbia and the 1905 Family of Restaurants. Since it began, the Community Harvest program has donated over $4 million to non-profit organizations throughout Florida.
“As we look ahead to the Columbia’s 120th anniversary in 2025, I’m reminded that great restaurants are more than just places to eat; they’re part of the fabric of the community,” said 4th generation caretaker and president Richard Gonzmart. “I started this program to help many of the worthy non-profits so important to the people who live near our restaurants across Florida. The simple concept is to ‘Eat Well And Do Good.’ It’s a delicious way to help these organizations.”’
