Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County to benefit from the Columbia Restaurant’s 26th Annual Community Harvest program this September
We are excited and grateful to share that INK!’s Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County college scholarship program has been selected by the 1905 Family Of Restaurants to benefit from the 26th Annual Community Harvest program. During the month of September, the restaurant company will donate 5% of all diners’ checks to the local charities selected by guests while dining at the company’s restaurant locations across Florida.
In St. Johns County, patrons of the local Columbia Restaurant at 98 St. George Street in historic, downtown St. Augustine, can support Take Stock in Children-St. Johns County (TSIC-SJC). Select TSIC-SJC as your non-profit of choice, and the Columbia will donate 5% of your check to TSIC-SJC.
There is no cost to vote for TSIC-SJC as your non-profit of choice on the ballot provided! Banquets and catering orders also qualify for donations through the Community Harvest program.
Over $3.5 million donated to Florida non-profits
Since it began, the Community Harvest program has donated over $3.5 million to non-profit organizations throughout Florida. More than 100 non-profits participated in the 2022 Community Harvest program.
“We started this program as a way to help many of the worthy non-profit groups that are so important to our communities,” said 4th generation caretaker and president Richard Gonzmart. “I can’t believe how much it has grown. The concept is to eat well and do good. It’s a delicious way to help these organizations.”
