INK! provides early literacy intervention to children entering VPK, kindergarten, and first grade
New Worlds Reading Regional Partner
INK! is proud to partner with the University of Florida Lastinger Center and New Worlds Reading Initiative to introduce this FREE literacy program to families in St. Johns County. Together, we are hosting Family Literacy Workshops and Community Events to introduce families to this incredible resource. This partnership helps parents, caregivers, and children connect through literacy to support young readers and inspire a lifelong love of reading.

All guests enjoy a delicious catered dinner and participate in hands-on literacy activities. We will learn strategies, tips, and tools to support reading at home. And, take home some exciting giveaways from of our Community Partners!

What is New Worlds Reading?
- New Worlds Reading is a FREE literacy resource for Florida public and charter school students in VPK to 5th Grade who are not yet reading on grade level.
- Eligible students enrolled in the New Worlds Reading program receive a new book at home from September through May during the school year to add to their home library.
- Each book mailed to a student’s home includes resources, activities, and tips for families to support young readers.
- INK! is proud to partner with the University of Florida Lastinger Center and New Worlds Reading to introduce this amazing program to families in St. Johns County.
- Join us at a one of our Family & Community Literacy events to learn more about New Worlds Reading and gain tools and tips you can use at home to support your student and inspire a joy for reading.
