Investing in Kids (INK!), the St. Johns County Education Foundation, is seeking a passionate, organized, and collaborative leader to serve as our Director of Educator Programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who believes that when educators have the resources, recognition, and support they need, students thrive.
As the Director of Educator Programs, you will lead a portfolio of initiatives that directly support teachers and schools across St. Johns County, including:
- Teacher of the Year & Rookie Teacher of the Year
- Tools 4 Schools
- INK! Impact Grants (classroom and schoolwide innovation grants)
Working closely with INK! leadership, the St. Johns County School District, school administrators, educators, volunteers, and community partners, you will oversee the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of these signature programs while helping tell the story of their impact.
What You’ll Do
You’ll provide leadership for educator-focused programs by:
- Managing the full lifecycle of INK!’s educator recognition and classroom grant programs
- Building strong partnerships with school district leaders, principals, teachers, volunteers, and community partners
- Overseeing grant administration, program implementation, reporting, and evaluation
- Coordinating educator events and recognition programs
- Supporting volunteer engagement for educator initiatives
- Measuring program outcomes and using data to strengthen future programming
- Supervising the Tools 4 Schools staff
- Supporting additional INK! events and initiatives throughout the year
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- An exceptional project manager with outstanding organizational skills
- A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships
- Passionate about public education and supporting educators
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented while keeping the big picture in focus
- Collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Three or more years of related professional experience
- Experience working in education and/or the nonprofit sector preferred
- Grant management experience preferred
- Experience working with or within K-12 public schools is a plus
